8/08 Michael Law Blog

a few days ago in class, during kyles post lecture, we discussed about celebrities and the charity. Someone had mentioned that lil kim has a charitable foundation called lil kim cares. another class what skeptical about her foundation, and then later started a heated argument. what i wanna know is that do you think its alright to have bad influence celebrities be the face of a charity? and do you also think that true "role models" are what they were 30 years ago?

  1. "most" people do not do thinkgs out of the kindness of their heart anymore. EXP. those people who are in the public eye because they might seem like they have good intensions but in actuality they are just working on the immage and more then likely the idea was brought to them by the person who handles their public relations

  3. ok.. please martin dont get mad at me but. NO. i dont think that it is alright for celeberties to have a bad influence or to be the face of charity.. BECAUSE people will look at what you do. and judge how the way you do it. the media will definitly be a big part of it. and i dont think that lil kim is a good canidate to put her name or face on anything..BECAUSE of the pass history she has.and its to explicit to be put in detail....
