Just so you can see what I'm talking about when I forget to give context about Tamms.

  1. I dont see why we are worried. These people arent in Tamms for j walking. These aer extremely violent people who are too violent for regular prison. They put themselves there, it was all their own doing.

  2. They are not being treated according to human rights law and they are not informed about why they are there, how long they'll be there. Even in prison, they are still people and they need to be treated in a way that gives them some possibility of reform (since we claim that is the intention of the system).

  3. I believe that if they wanted to be treated like humans they shouldnt have committed a crime that was so terrible they put the prisoner in a supermax. This is just my opinion.

  4. People who are put in Tamms arent there for victimless crimes. What ever they did will haunt that victim for the rest of their lives. I think they are getting what they deserve.

  5. Without there being proven evidence that Tamms changes poor behavior in inmates, it's incredibly pointless, and it costs more money to be there. I'm wondering who benefits from this situation.

Wouldn't it just be easier to use the death penalty? It would save us time and money.
