You are at the halfway point for Bridge. It's about time you start showing some maturity and start to use the blog as a more academic forum. You should be excited by this and you should see this as a place to really understand the kind of language and the new tongue you'll be using in college. So, stop the cell phone and text messaging lingo and cut out the pop culture references that aren't deconstructing pop culture. If you want to look at something through a particular lens--gender, race, economics, culture, all the -isms--go for it. It's time to start showing us a little more maturity and a little more dedication to THOUGHTFUL ANSWERS.

Remember, you are now REQUIRED to ask questions in your response and start referring to specific peers' comments. Use names. Ask more questions. We are RESISTING CLOSURE.
