My expectations for the bridge program would be obviously me passing and getting into this awesome school to help me get further in the future. All i want to do is focus on my work, fly by, and get done with everything i need to do. My goals are just to focus on everything, everything that is really important, to pretty much get me through these four weeks of waking up at 6am in the morning, oh yes i do blame myself for the grades i've received. What I would like to learn from this class is what i'll be having to look forward to in the future for my english class for the fall semester.. If that makes sense?
The teacher expectations i think would be just to do your best at it, and try getting everything done, making a commitment to yourself. The goals i would think you're giving us is to be prepared for what's coming at is, hm, what can be coming into our future with this. One question i would have for you is if your going to make this fun for us, i mean teach us things of course, but make it fun so that we understand it more and really get into it. Which i know you'll do because you guys are already awesome to me. Holla.
Monica,
ReplyDeleteThere are some interesting things in here. First, the suggestion of flying by...what does that mean to you? There is a negative connotation on the idea of "flying by" in college because it means you are paying for something (paying a lot) for something you might just be "getting through." Can you explain what you meant so that that connotation is dismissed?
We'll try really hard to make it fun for you. The thing about college is, you get what you put in. That might be true for everything. If you don't like what you are receiving, you might have to change what it is about you that is causing you to receive what you are getting. Does that make sense? If the class is "working" then we can have fun. If the class is slacking, then it becomes more like babysitting. So show us someone who is ready to learn and balance that learning with fun.
